Summer is going so fast. We have to cherish it while it is here.
Gracie, do you remember how much you love that John Deere trike? It was a battle teaching you to ride any trike, but once you got it you spent hours riding up and down our alley. Hopefully this summer we can get you on a real bike. I know you can do it, my girl.
Jackson, do remember your truck that you couldn’t steer and constantly ran into the side of the house. Do you remember that Spider-Man costume that mommy found you on clearance that you refused to take off even though we begged you to let us wash it?
Do you remember that awesome swing set that Grandma bought you? The swing set was great, but even more amazing was the box it came in. Gracie, you pretended that it was a coffin bed so you could be like your favorite cartoon character, Draculara.
Gracie, do you remember when you lost your tooth in school? It wasn’t the one that we thought was going to come out. That one held on for a couple of more weeks. They put it in a little tooth cup for you and you got two gold coins and a dollar bill.
Jackson, you begged me to get your raincoat and boots so you could play in the puddles.
Gracie, do you remember your first Kindergarten program? You told me that you knew I would be there sneaking around with my camera to take pictures of you. Jackson got so sad because he couldn’t go on stage with you, but it was your time to shine. We had to remind him that he can get up there when he is big like you.
